And so to Paris

Hi everyone. Welcome back and thank you for joining me for the second post of the day. There's just time to share this card and include it in the current Simon Says Stamp and Show challenge - Passport to Fun

You'd never believe this card was almost completely white at one point!

It all started with a piece of white card stamped repeatedly with a Stampers Anonymous Paris background and stencilled with white texture paste. Then a raised layer of (yes, you guessed it) white embossed card.

The spraying had to be done carefully to avoid muddying the colours. The travel inspired elements were created from vellum and white card to allow the colour to show through.

These Sizzix Thinlits leaves are fast becoming real favourites, and were teamed with some my recycled roses.

A couple of other non-white items; the Eiffel Tower deserved to stand out (but not dominate) hence the reason for white embossing on antique gold card, and a few metal elements to complete the look.

Here's hoping you find it as colourful as Paris really is. Hugs, Jenny x

  15. Brave move to spray the colours at such a late stage but it has worked so well. Paris in the springtime (I've never been) but can imagine it.
