Finally finished!

Hello all and happy 4th July to all in and out of the USA ('tis my FIL's birthday too so more reasons to celebrate).  An uber-quick post today as work beckons. Hmmph.

So I finally finished my OH's ATC inspiration/birthday project. For those out of this loop my better half celebrated (if that's what you can call it when you're on a course at work) his birthday last week. He is also going through a major training course too and needs as much motivation as he can get to keep him positive. So I decided to ditch the ususal card idea and create a set of ATC sized tags that will tuck into his locker - a sort of happy reminder of home/source of motivation all in one little package. And here is the last of those ATC's...

The background started life as white card onto which I stamped and clear embossed some Artemio script in various colours. It then had a swipe of Walnut Stain DI and a spritz with CS Silver Shimmer Mist (wiped away from the clear embossed script.

Each of the sayings (Sam Poole Art Sayings) was stamped onto coloured card with Walnut Stain, except for Life's Lessons as this was the 'title' for the piece.

I had to add aluminium leaves coloured with alcohol inks/white mixative to make it hang together properly.

So there we have it - finished on time and well received (I'm happy/relieved to report!)

Hope you've enjoyed the creative journey with these. I've learned so much along the way.
Hugs to you all and thanks for all your lovely comments. Buttons x
