AALL & Create - Strings n Scripts by Bipasha BK

Hi everyone and welcome. I'm back today with a new card using  AALL & Create stamps and stencils and some experiments with colour combinations to go with the artful theme.

Strings n Scripts by Bipasha BK

As well as typewritten script and lines of stitching, the beautiful background in Bipasha BK's A4 stamp set includes lots of wonderful artefacts. For this card I stamped them out individually for use in building the foreground.

You can see from the work in progress photo below that I began the background by stamping the whole image, adding Distress Oxide Ink over it to create a softer look. After applying Texture Paste through Autour de Mwa's stencil I took the decision to tear the background in half before adding drips of paint, muslin and then the various artful artefacts. Finally I incorporated the scissors and paint brushes from two of Bipasha BK's older stamp sets along with the word 'art' from Olga Heldwein's 'Patches' stamp set.
