Hi everyone and welcome to my corner of the planet. Bet the post title got you intrigued! I buried under sample/gift making at the moment, but thought it about time to surface briefly and give you all a chance to win this card.
Linda Coughlin is making space for all the new stock coming in at The Funkie Junkie Boutique by offering HUGE DISCOUNTS on all her Sizzix Alterations stock HERE.
I decided to celebrate by making a card with a few of these dies and then giving someone the chance to own said card. To be in with a chance to win it just leave me a comment at the end of this post - I'll make the draw and announce the winner on Friday August 23rd (in my Frilly and Funkie Friday Focus post).
This card started with a fantastic tutorial from Candice over at Tincan Handmade Craft Deli - thought I'd give it a whirl using DS Brushed Pewter. Knew I wanted to team it with my new Maja Design Vintage Summer papers (utterly gorgeous) for a shabby chic look. Love the way the stencilled texture paste cogs look after being spritzed with a mist of diluted Faded Jeans Distress Reinker and dabbed with more of that DS Brushed Pewter.
Corrugated cogs and some Tattered Flowers added to the design, but the bit that really made my heart sing was the fact that I discovered Watering Can and Cornflower Blue Archival Inks were made to go with this paper pad. I mean, Wendy Vecchi couldn't have planned it any better.
So, if you'd like to be in with a chance of winning this card remember to leave me a comment. And to bag yourself a bargain head over to The Funkie Junkie Boutique;
the Mini Gears die set and Mini Clock Key and Pocket Watch die set
are each priced at just $10.23 (a brilliant $5.76 saving off the list price)
and the Pocket Watch frame die and the Tattered Flowers Decorative Strip
are each priced at just $12.79 (a whopping $7.20 saving off the list price).
See you all on Friday, and good luck. Hugs, Jenny x
