WOYWW 187

Hi there fellow WOYWWers and apologies for the prolonged absence. Christmas was busy, busy, busy (yep, I was the one wrapping presents at 11pm on the 24th!!!) But, New Year, new leaf? Not on your nelly! The photo of my workdesk was genuinely taken at 9am this morning - will someone please inform the Sun that Staffordshire exists as I have a feeling it's forgotten. It would have been more organised to do this last night, but after spending a few pleasureable hours catching up with blogging friends/posts even the dog was looking at me with that "Really? Why are you STILL up?!" face.

So what's going on and why a shot of my desk? For the non-initiated welcome to Julia Dunnit's weekly whizz around workdesks of the World (said in my very best 'ello, ello' voice:) For all the details and so you can join this happy band click here. I got four cards made yesterday but of course didn't do the one I need for today - enough pressure right? Oh no, pile it on woman... saw a fab tutorial by Tammy Tutterow and thought "That'd be good!" Well why choose the time to experiment when you are time-limited then!! Moreover, since taking this photo I've realised how I could improve the panel further so another one needs creating, and the image needs colouring, and the letters need doing, and the insert needs printing, and it needs putting together. Hmmm, other things in my life are more organised (can't tell you about them yet) honest! Time to leave you and get this card done/drop in on my WOYWW friends.
Hope you are more on the ball today:) Hugs, Jenny x

  3. Hi Jenny, I saw Tammy's demo yesterday and thought it looked good too (and a great use for my new harlequin die methinks). Four cards is very good going even if you did not do the one for today. I have some urgent ones to do to but it is much more fun just playing..... love the mask on your desk, I have that one somewhere but forgot all about it. Your backgrounds are beautiful. Happy WOYWW my friend, Hugs, Anne x #7

  10. Hi Jenny. This post made me smile. The sun has not done much shining over here in Cheshire either. If you are like me you have got your camera at all sorts of strange angles just trying to take a decent picture. So looking forward to seeing more of your lovely work throughout 2013. Love Mo xx

  21. We crafters love a challenge Jenny and yes I would be one who would be looking at the tutorial and then going "Whatif" "Whatif" and then "OH NO" when I realised that the must do still isn't!
YOu are by the way doing your dog a favour - never let them decide your routine - NOW I am laughing as our totally loved girls are totally able to get their own way - Big brown eyes do it to me every time.
Have fun with your crafting - can't see mine for product as I attend to mundane :( but there is a crafty hour or so promised if I get on with it!

  24. Hello and Happy New year! I LOL'd at wrapping presents at 11pm on Christmas Eve! I was doing the same thing! Hope you had an amazing Christmas - I love the stuff you have been doing! I am not back to blogging yet. Am struggling to get over a cold/flu type bug and inspiration and motivation have deserted me. It really shouldn't as I got so much craft stuff for Christmas - I should be bursting with ideas! Much love and hugs from Laura xxxxxxxx
