Morning all. Yep, I've made it finally today to take part in Julia's weekly What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday. If that means nothing to you and you love a good nosey go HERE to find out how to join the fun. Late night (tag from my last post still on the mat) a school run, and general life admin have got in the way of posting this morning.
So with time at a premium and any number of blogs to catch up with here's home today. Points of note; left back are the two boxes I keep random embellies in; far right is a newly arrived collection of Jenni Bowlin' inks all ready for more misting (courtesy of a spree at bubblyfunk.co.uk who have a 50% off promo mentioned last week by Anne - told you I couldn't resist!); they are set to go on a Finnabair inspired tag (pile of neutral textured bits and bobs top corner of the mat) and some layered/gesso'd backgrounds next to the inks; there's a pile of black pieces from a Flitter Glu/Mega Flakes session ready for doing something with; finally at the foreground is a Michael Powell lighthouse stamp that I have been meaning to use for ages and hurrah, a challenge has just been set for which it would be perfect! More to come on that score.
Right, time's up. Hope you're all still concious! Time to visit a few desks :) Hugs, Buttons x
Hi Buttons, glad you got some bargains too, they really were too good to miss! You will love the lighthouse stamp, it is so much fun to colour up - I am in love with all his stamps but mainly just sit and look at them, lol. Hope you get some crafty time, you have been making some fab pieces lately and many congrats on your recent win too! Crafty hugs, Anne x #47

Love those Powell stamps, something about them takes my fancy each time I look at them. Think it is a lot to do with the indices on them, so colourful and a bit fantasy like.

Take care and see you net week if not before.
Hugs, Neet 84 xx

Yup, still conscious, and....do I spy a Playmobil fireman on your display shelf????? Heheheheh....
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your kind comments on my blog today! I have to be positive and happy because life's too short to be otherwise, and I have a fab stepdaughter to make up for the lack of any of my own. This was on the cards 20 years ago, and so I'm pretty philosophical about it all. I just hope it gets sorted well before next summer as we're getting married and moving house then!
Good to see you still doing WOYWW - gets addictive, doesn't it?
