Eileen Hull Designs Tiny Book and Tiny Book Case Launch Blog Hop

Hi everyone and welcome. Thanks for joining us for the Eileen Hull Release Party Blog Hop! The Inspiration Team is excited to finally share their Sizzix Chapter 2 projects using the brand new 'Tiny Book' and 'Tiny Book Case' Scoreboards Dies. Throughout April, the designers will be sharing tutorials and videos with you. Once you've checked out my makes, please hop down the list of designers (linked up at the end of this post) to see what the other members of the team have been working on. And now for the even more exciting bit! If you leave a comment on each of the designer’s posts by April 6, you will be entered to win a 'Tiny Book' Die! The winner will be announced on Eileen’s Facebook Live on Tuesday, April 7.

The Tiny Book measures 2 1/4” x 3” and is just the right size for wallet size photos, stamps, quotes, tags or tiny cards. The Tiny Book Case is designed to hold the book, a gift card, earrings, or small treats. For all of those who missed out on Eileen's hugely popular Needle Book Die this is a fantastic alternative. And for those like me who are hooked on Eileen's book/journal dies then this is a must for your ever growing collection. If you haven’t gotten your hands on a Tiny Book and Tiny Book Case yet, you can find them at your local retailer (I've added a couple of links at the bottom of this post for those in the UK and US).

Now let's get to it - I've got a couple of projects to whet your appetite for the new dies. First up the Tiny Book and coordinating Tiny Book Case shown above were the ones sent to Eileen for the Creativation and Paperworld shows back in January (gosh that feels like a lifetime ago now!)

They were created using some Gel Plate printed card, repeat stamped with a Seth Apter mini stamp from PaperArtsy. I heat embossed another of Seth's mini stamp images on the front of the book and added a little lace and a key cut using the Tiny Book Die, binding it with tea stained paper signatures. The Tiny Book Case closure is a piece of ribbon wrapped around the outside and secured with a buckle, also cut using the Tiny Book Die.

Now for another Tiny Book project. Back in January I made a mini accordion book (see the blog post and tutorial HERE) at that time realising that it would fit perfectly inside the cover of a Tiny Book. And here it is - first the cover;

And now the accordion section, glued inside and folded up perfectly.

It's a busy day today so if you fancy seeing the tutorial for a third Tiny Book (with matching Tiny Book Cover) I'm posting a new one here in just a couple of hours!

And if you haven't already pre-ordered your 'Tiny Book' and 'Tiny Book Case' Dies here are links to a couple of independent retailers;
UK - Country View Crafts
US - The Funkie Junkie Boutique
