Words are all you need (Part 2) at IndigoBlu

Hi everyone and thank you if you are joining me for the third post of the day (find the first HERE and the second HERE). I'm back to join members of the IndigoBlu Design Team in reminding you about our current challenge, 'Words are all you need'. We've already had some fabulous entries but there's always room for more and of course with a fantastic prize up for grabs there is every reason for you to do just that.

Here is my second card for the challenge using a super sentiment from the Little Voice stamp set (heat embossed for dimension). Doesn't it make a change from just wishing someone a happy birthday...

Of course it is great to be able to create your own bespoke backgrounds and the numbers stencil is so adaptable and utterly suitable for any words connected to age. Simply sponge black Gee-Sso Good through and you've got a striking and quick pattern to which any other colours can be added. I also included some Gee-Sso Good and Mega Flake lines, and then some paint splatters for structure.

I adore Alter Egos, light weight blank embellishments that can be altered easily with all manner of media. In this case I used the Miss MoneyPenny metallic paint - if you apply a lot and heat it to dry you can get it to bubble up and create some fantastic texture to your shape. Some die cut leaves, a little thread and some matting and layering and that was it.

So it you haven't joined us already let's see what you can do with your IndigoBlu stamps over at the challenge blog, and don't forget to make those words the centre of our attention. And catch the additional inspiration from my fellow team mates over at today's IndigoBlu challenge blog post. Looking forward to seeing you there.

Take care of yourselves, Jenny xxx
