Ring 'o' Posey at IndigoBlu

Hi everyone and welcome to another Saturday morning! I'm celebrating the start of Spring here in the Northern Hemisphere with a floral card over at IndigoBlu. Hope you can join me over there to take a better look at what I've been up to. This one was inspired by the work of Karen Haylesden  (Kassa - Delight in the Detail) who creates the most beautiful floral rings; I would highly recommend you hop on over and take a look.

Thankfully the nights are getting lighter and the days warmer so life feels better all round. And of course those gardens are now crying out for a bit of attention so I may well be swapping a paint brush for a spade. Maybe see you out there!

Whatever you're up to this weekend take care of yourselves, Jenny xxx

  3. Just popped back from having a look Jenny and it doesn't look like an easy card to make. So much depth and character in one card is amazing.

  4. A Fantastically Beautiful card, Jenny! Just perfect for these first few days of Spring :) (my planting areas could use some attention, too)(but it's raining, so they'll wait a bit longer!) :)
I barely notice the penciled circles, Jenny--it's like a shadow of the wreath--sooo cool!!
Just a wonderful Springtime card! Much better than a fb post!! :) XOXO-Shari

  5. I have just been over - it is a stunning card. Your faux wood always impresses but you have taken it up a notch with the chocolate, it looks so realistic. Hope to catch the show tomorrow... Anne xx

  16. That tutorial was just fantastic Jenny! I also ran over to look at Karen's floral rings and what a talented lady and groovy wonderful work on her blog too! I just LOOOOOVE this card you've created though and the colors of natural woods and the soft blues blooming are fabulous. I nearly fell out of my chair with that sentiment. AMEN!! Yes, a card is way WAY better. :)
    Big hugs to you,
    Lisa xx
