Not Quite Right

Hello all. Been under the weather a bit today and frustrated with myself. You have all been so wonderful with your lovely comments about my first Funkie Junkie 12 Tags of Christmas (sponsored by The Funkie Junkie Boutique) entry (please see last post) but I wasn't totally happy with the angel, so I've changed it.

Not a massive change but the last piece of lace seemed overworked/too dark/unangelic to me, and Linda's wings were far more delicate. Yet again my photography skills let this one down as the new layered lace wings are covered in glitter glue. Hey ho.
Pleased to say I'm happier with the next one in the 'series' (see next post) so no more changes.
Thanks for bearing with a frustrated perfectionist. Hugs, Buttons x

  1. Isn't it funny that no matter what anyone else tells us, if we are not happy with something, then we are not happy, full stop. I thought it looked beautiful before but I see now why you wanted to change it and it really is beautiful now - really! Hope you have a lovely weekend and that you are not still under the weather. Crafty hugs, Anne x

  5. Looks pretty good to me both ways, but I can see what you're after with the change... maybe something in the air, I've been struggling with something "not quite right" too!! But haven't solved it as happily as you yet...

  6. Both are absolutely wonderful! But I too know that "not quite right" feeling, usually what keeps me going for hours and hours on the same piece! Your background is really gorgeous and I am so impressed with the techniques you used to create it - thanks for sharing about those! Every single element is perfection and I especially love the shabby fibers you include as hangers.

So thrilled to have you joining in my little 12 Tags of Christmas challenge. Can't wait to see what you have for us for #3!

    Hugs,
    Linda
